Warranties and returns

A transparent warranty policy is a guarantee of customer confidence in the brand. Shafer successfully implements its warranty program.

A simplified warranty is available to buyers of TM Shafer products:

  • The buyer must present the sales receipt to the seller.
  • Also, to check the correct selection of the part, the car's identification data, including the VIN number.
  • In the absence of a receipt, the product can also be returned to the store, in which case the date of manufacture of the part indicated on the product will be considered the beginning of the warranty period.
  • If the application is considered positively, the buyer receives compensation for the defective product.

Warranty conditions:

The warranty for brand products is 12 months or 30,000 km* and starts from the moment of sale of the part to the consumer. Within 30 days from the moment of discovery of the defect, the buyer must submit a claim to the store where the product was purchased.

The warranty covers:

due to lack of material or manufacturing defect.

The warranty does not cover:

  • in case of unqualified installation and / or the presence of traces of finishing or restoration;
  • with standard operational wear, in the case of a natural change in the condition of the part, including aging;
  • for the next replacement during maintenance;
  • if independent changes were made to the standard configuration of the car, affecting the operation of the part;
  • if a part was installed on the car that does not meet the requirements of the car manufacturer and the recommendations of the Shafer catalog;
  • if the part was damaged, as a result of careless driving on rough roads and in the event of an impact load on the car;
  • when operating in the conditions of sports events;
  • if the part was damaged as a result of an accident, natural disasters, damage caused by third parties, and other force majeure circumstances;
  • in case of improper storage;
  • for damage caused by the use of low-quality, or which do not meet the requirements of the manufacturing plant, operational (including lubricant) materials.

To register a warranty case, when installing a part in the service, you must fill out a warranty card.
